Sit down, relax, and I'll tell you the story of Wild Lill
It might bring a heart tug or it might bring a spine chill.
She was the wildest of her mother's brood of ten.
It was no big surprise when she ended up in the pen.
When she was out free she was stirring up trouble
The kids were always telling her mom to come on the double.
Over and over she would be in some knock down crazy fight.
She was a true vixen, a banshee and one miserable sprite.
She had a face like an angel but she didn't know she was a girl.
She was a rare beauty, with manners she might have been a pearl.
The boys who got crushes on her got beat up the worst.
Folks didn't know what to make of her and said she was cursed.
She got kicked out of grammar school for beating up her teacher.
He had made the great mistake of pinching her butt behind a bleacher.
No one could ever say she didn't know how to protect herself.
Thank God that the gun she had gotten hold of was sitting on a shelf.
By age 15 she was drinking, drugging and smoking to beat the band.
Her few friends were dating, but for her life she had nothing like that planned.
One young man made the grave error of once calling her a dyke
He had to go to the hospital when in his leg she drilled in a spike.
She took up chewing tobacco at 16 and added some cocaine to her menu.
That was right after the local judge refused to give her a change of venue.
That ended up with her first trip to the local jail, but it wasn't the last.
Mothers actually hid their sons from her because she was so fast.
She robbed a liquor store at 17 and said it was because she was dry.
The shock of that job was that she teamed up with some goofy guy.
She and this guy, Sam, were often seen together, running like pals
Everyone knew Lill mostly hated men and only hung out with gals.
She spent a year in prison for the liquor store job
No one knew what happened to Sam, the poor slob.
But when her year was over they were seen together at the show.
She had a dress on and he was dressed up as her beau.
People wondered if this was the taming of the wild one.
Would she now go straight, join a convent and become a nun?
Or would she settle down and marry Sam and raise some kids?
Most locals said it was just a matter of time before she was on the skids.
But then the two of them were seen dancing at a village formal.
They both looked clean, shiny and so downright normal.
She was seen giving Sam a hug and a chaste kiss on the cheek.
Did this really mean that Lill had given up on being the town's biggest freak?
Well I'm here to tell you there was no more prison in her life for her.
She didn't go around beating people up. She didn't cause a stir.
They were married the June that she turned 19 years-old.
No jokes or cracks were made as she promised to have and to hold.
But you have to wonder if that's the complete end of my story.
Will she one day get mad at her kid's teacher and things will get gorey?
It remains to be seen if she really is domesticated and broken.
The possibility that she's not is thought roundly but remains unspoken.
